Hillbrook Lawn Tennis Club is starting a Ladies and a Men’s Singles Ladder. This will give players the opportunity to engage in regular, competitive tennis. It is a highly automated, self-service event that runs 52 weeks of the year and caters for all levels.
Members aged 16 and over may join the Ladder at any time and have one free challenge to get them started. Once active they can then challenge up to 4 places above them.
All challenges comprise of two full tie-break sets – a championship tiebreak will be played, if required, as a deciding third set. The championship tiebreak is won by the player who is the first to ten points, to win by two (ie, 10-6, 11-9, 12-10etc)). So, great competition in a brief time!

The Ladder will become active on Monday 15th of June. On Day 1, the organisers will have to assign the initial player positions on the Ladder. This will be necessary to get things started, however as you will see, the order will quickly change once the matches commence! The Ladder will be open to join all year round, however anyone joining after 15/06/2020 will automatically enter at the bottom of the ladder.
